AZTESOL is the Arizona state affiliate of TESOL, the international professional organization for educators in the field of teaching English to speakers of other languages. Since our organization began in 1954 as the Arizona Bilingual Council, it has provided over six decades of service. Our members work with learners of English in Arizona’s public and private schools, colleges, universities, and adult education programs.

Our Structure
AZTESOL is divided into four regions: Northern (centered in Flagstaff), Central (Phoenix), Southeast (Tucson), and Southwest (Yuma). Representatives of each region serve on our Board of Directors, plan local mini-conferences, and provide help with membership and other needs.
