AZTESOL – Arizona Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages Update – November 2025

Dear AZTESOL Community,

We are thrilled to share that planning is well underway for our AZTESOL Annual Conference, coming in October 2026. Our team is actively preparing for this event, and we are excited about the opportunities it will bring to educators, learners, and our statewide community.

We will keep you updated as more details become available.

Throughout the 2025 school year, we offered online webinars to continue supporting our members with meaningful professional learning opportunities.

Communications & Focus Areas
Earlier this year, the AZTESOL community received a survey to guide our Strategic Planning session in January.

Key insights include:

• Recruiting and engaging more PreK–12 teachers, highlighting a strong emphasis on expanding membership and K–12 involvement.
• Professional development opportunities and advocacy for English Learners, reflecting members’ commitment to educator growth and systemic support.
• Building partnerships and strengthening communication and outreach across the organization.

We look forward to honoring our AZTESOL community feedback and will be strategically planning to address the key insights.
