This module focuses on developing the skills needed to design effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated responses while remaining actively “in the loop” as the educator. Participants will learn how to craft prompts that preserve their professional voice and instructional intent, ensuring that AI outputs are meaningfully shaped by human judgment rather than accepted uncritically.
The module also emphasizes contextualizing AI-generated content to meet specific classroom needs, including adapting materials for students’ diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Educators will explore strategies for personalizing AI outputs to support inclusivity, relevance, and instructional alignment.
In addition, this module addresses potential limitations and risks associated with AI-generated content, helping teachers critically assess accuracy, bias, and appropriateness in relation to student learning. The goal is to empower educators to thoughtfully mediate AI use, ensuring that all content is pedagogically sound, culturally responsive, and aligned with classroom goals.
