Northern Arizona University: Lecturer / Assistant Clinical Professor – Bilingual Multicultural Education

The Department of Educational Specialties located on the Flagstaff Mountain Campus is seeking to fill a non-tenure track faculty position at the Lecturer / Assistant Clinical Professor level with expertise in Bilingual Multicultural Education, Linguistics or a closely related field beginning in August 2019. Candidates need to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching diverse students in higher education. The individual selected for this position will be located at the NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus and will:

• Teach in person, blended or online undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of TESOL or linguistics, English as a Second Language (ESL) methods and bilingual education.

• Actively participate as a member of the Bilingual Multicultural Education faculty in the department and college.

Japanese university English teaching positions for Fall 2019:
Westgate is a Japanese company that runs programs at 59 schools and universities in Kanto (Tokyo/Kanagawa/Saitama/Chiba) and Aichi (Nagoya). We are looking for MATESOL graduates with classroom teaching experience. We also consider those with a Bachelor’s degree and experience. We offer short-term contracts (3 to 5 months) and it is an excellent opportunity to gain international teaching experience at the university level. The classes are primarily conversation classes. In addition to salary, we reimburse flights up to $1200, and we arrange apartments, airport pick-ups, working visas and National Health insurance. The Spring term runs from March/April/May to July/August, and the Fall term runs from September to December/January.
