Northern Arizona University seeks a successful, experienced administrator to serve as Director of its Program in Intensive English (PIE) starting July 1, 2017. The Director position involves overall responsibility for leading an academic and professional staff of 15-20. Duties include: effectively market the program and recruit new students from diverse markets (foreign and domestic travel necessary); deliver existing programs and develop new programs; oversee professional development of faculty; develop and manage program budgets and facilities; collaborate closely with the Center for International Education (CIE); coordinate with Applied Linguistics faculty; ensure that PIE is in compliance with NAU policies and procedures; represent PIE on campus; and participate actively in local, regional, and national professional organizations.
